How do you breathe? Through your nose, or through your mouth? Through your chest, or through your belly? Despite how unimportant it may sound, it is key to many things including, weight loss, long life, circulation, and your general health and well being. In fact, it has been proven that a few deep breaths result in stress relief . By now you may be wondering how to breathe properly. The answer is through your nose, and into your belly. A good way to practice this is if every time you get up in the morning, you take five deep breaths through your nose, and into your belly. Anyway, Healthy Helperton is signing off.

So, I decided to share this recipe for lemonade from Elana's Pantry. The best part about this recipe is that it also cleanses your liver and your kidneys! Enjoy!

Possibly the most important thing to your health and general well being is your gut. You may be shocked about this, but it is true. As a matter of fact, your gut serves as a second brain, contributing more to your mood than your brain, itself. The most important thing to your gut's health, is an abundance of friendly bacteria. You can get friendly bacteria from lacto-fermented foods, including sauerkraut, kefir (water kefir, or the more traditional milk kefir), kombucha, and last, but, not least - a high-quality probiotics supplement.

Many people suffer from diabetes, stomach aches, headaches, and cancer. Very few, however, know that this could all be fixed with one simple and common herb found in many peoples' kitchens. Can you guess what it is? The answer is cayenne pepper ! Yep, you read correctly: cayenne pepper. Should you wish to experience the benefits of it, you can put it into your smoothies, you can take it inside your own capsules, and last, but not least, you can also put into your food. Spice up your life with cayenne.
